central LOCATION
helpful staff quality breakfast good location
the staff was very friendly and helpful generally. The breakfast was generous and high quality, it included tea, coffee, and biscuits. The location is good WITH chepstow castle very close. There are many restaurants and pubs nearby also.

the pub has a great atmosphere and live music is offered on certain nights, something I liked a LOT. A greek street food stall sets up outside near the garden area too. This provides convenient dining options.

This room featured a kitchenette with a microwave and sink making it REALLY convenient. The door opened directly to the outside, useful for taking a dog outside. This I found very useful. There is space around the castle.

a GEM beside the CASTLE
great atmosphere awesome location delicious breakfast historic hotel
I found lots of character and a great atmosphere. the location is awesome because of its proximity to the castle. i enjoyed breakfast very much in the pub. It set me up for the day. the hotel backs onto the castle and faces oliver cromwell's house.
the room WAS very cold. i asked for a soft drink at the bar at 9.35pm, but they refused. i stood outside the restaurant at 8am, but there was no one to greet me initially.

Breakfast in the bar was very good, and the staff is very friendly. the guest beers is worth a visit. They offer a good selection. i found the breakfast delicious. It started each day nicely.

the staff is friendly and helpful, and they are attentive to my needs. they accommodated my dietary requests without any fuss. they even prepared a packed lunch when i skipped breakfast one morning. the team worked hard.

the hotel had ev charging right next to the car park. the building itself is from the 17th century with original features. the floorboards and beams gave the room very nice character. this history is very cool.

The room contained original floorboards, beams, and doors. the beds felt comfy. the room was newly refurbished and large with an ensuite. i appreciated the large walk in shower. It felt luxurious.

I found the room nicely decorated. The bathroom was of good size. The stairs to the second floor were easily accessible, and the room was spotlessly clean.
The staff were not particularly friendly. The room was shabby. The TV did not work.

a romantic getaway!
historic charm amazing location comfortable stay
The room was very clean. It reminded me of a little flat with a historic charm. the location was amazing, and the stay, overall, was very comfortable. i especially enjoyed the kitchen area, it had a microwave and a sink.
