Check-in was fast. The beds felt comfy. The room included a nice en suite (very charmed!). I appreciated the short drive into Cardiff. The location was very convenient.
I noticed some minor dirtiness around the bath shower seal in the room.

lovely lady free car park
The room was fabulous. I had a good night's sleep and the breakfast was excellent. the lady attending to breakfast was so lovely, everything was spot on. we loved the free car park, it was spacious.
the room was quite tired and needs some updating.

charming stay
quiet location comfortable room excellent value
the location suited my travel needs wonderfully. the rural setting provided a tranquil retreat after long days. i found the room to be quite comfortable and the staff very approachable. breakfast was included and it.
i noticed some areas needing a bit of an update.

the twin room featured two single beds with ample space between them and each bed had its own bedside table and reading lamp. i saw the bathroom provided a full-size bathtub with a shower and toiletries were included. the room included a tv with several channels.

the staff demonstrated attentiveness during my meals and remembered my drink order. i noticed breakfast was served promptly each morning with friendly service. the reception staff offered helpful directions to nearby attractions.

fantastic stay
quality food beautiful garden
Breakfast HAS great options. I found good quality FOOD and variety. the staff seemed lovely and very helpful all THE time. the garden view from my ROOM was beautiful.
the sound proofing between rooms was NOT good. i could hear conversations from the adjacent room. the lack of soundproofing affected MY experience.

poor soundproofing inedible onion rings
I was not impressed with the soundproofing. I could clearly hear conversations from the adjacent room, which started before 7 AM. This seriously impacted my rest. My dinner was also disappointing. While the starters were fine, the main course was overcooked and the onion rings were not edible. I expect a better standard of food preparation!!!
