a good stay, spa needs attention

convenient location boutique feel fabulous bed tom
The location was convenient, and the hotel exuded a personal, boutique feel. i particularly loved the surrounding area, it was so picturesque. the bed was fabulous, providing excellent comfort for restful nights. i also appreciated meeting tom, the owner. His dedication was evident.
the spa's swimming pool was very cloudy, a bit off-putting. it also felt colder than expected, reducing the enjoyment. this issue was reported, but it seemed to be a known problem, a bit disappointing.
Dining

Breakfast was enjoyable, it offered a good start to the day. the chef prepared an amazing hot soufflé for dessert one evening!!! the food was of good quality overall. I appreciated the effort put into each dish.

Acceptable stay overall

warm room fresh towels cool pool breakfast process busy staff drink machine
My room was a good Standard Double Room. It was also warm. Fresh towels and toiletries were provided. I visited the spa area (it was good). I found a warm jacuzzi, a cool pool, a sauna, and a steam room.
The breakfast involved much wandering to find things. I had to make my own drink from a machine. I expected more at breakfast after the great dinner the night before. Staff seemed very busy.
