Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests frequently highlight the Winchmore Hotel's superb location right on the seafront, with some rooms boasting sea views from a bow window. The rooms are generally spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. While a few guests have found the decor a bit dated, the hotel offers convenient facilities such as parking at the back, though spaces are limited, and it's just a short walk to Venue Cymru and the town centre. Breakfast is also a plus, with a tasty cooked selection and plentiful buffet options.

soft mattress barely warm breakfast
The room decor felt quite dated, I must say. I found the mattress to be too soft for my liking, impacting my sleep. The breakfast buffet had items that were only barely warm. Finally, the hotel parking situation was a bit of a headache. Limited spaces meant I spent some time searching for a spot, not IDEAL.

Super Location, Lovely Front Sea

sea view friendly staff great menu delicious food
I stayed for two nights. The location on the sea front is ideal. our window offered beautiful views. The staff were friendly and cute! The menu included a great selection of food and breakfasts. It all was delicious.
The bathroom really needed an update, it was quite old. There was also lots of noise from the rooms nearby. It was a very small detail, overall.
Location
9/10
The hotel sits right on the seafront with direct access. It is also a short walk to the pier, very convenient. Parking might need planning during busy days, though spots exist nearby.
Rooms
8/10
The rooms are clean and tidy, and they include all essentials needed for stay. Room sizes vary, and some bathrooms may feel small, but they are functional. Rooms need updates.
Service
10/10
Staff members are very cute and helpful . They address concerns quickly and are keen to ensure comfort. The hotel operates as family business with close attention.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast included a variety of options. The cooked breakfast is worth it, and there are cereals and juices too. The hotel offers evening meals that require ordering in advance.
