fantastic stay!
amazing view friendly staff
the views overlooking the city are amazing! the hotel location is quite convenient. it's near both the city center and a historic castle. i especially appreciated the friendly staff. the food tasted delicious.
the room lacked a chest of drawers. i think more storage would significantly improve the room's functionality for longer stays.

pleasant receptionist super clean room well cooked breakfast ample choice
We were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary, returning after 25 years. The hotel made it so special! the receptionist and restaurant staff were all very pleasant. the room was beautiful and super clean. breakfast had plenty of choices. Everything tasted well cooked and presented.
The ev charging points are standard 13amp sockets, delivering only 1.3kw. If you want more than 30 miles of charge for an overnight stay, you might be disappointed.

The bedroom included a comfortable bed with fresh linens and fluffy pillows. It had a modern ensuite bathroom. the room also provided ample storage space, including a wardrobe with hangers, and a chest of drawers for clothes. The room was perfect

missing drawers stingy water
The room, a 'double bedroom', lacked a chest of drawers. It only had a hanging rail! i found this inconvenient for storing folded clothes. also, for a so-called 4-star hotel, the absence of complimentary items like bathrobes and slippers was like a corner was cut. only one small bottle of water was provided. This seems rather stingy.

excellent country stay
comfortable seating garden seating
the room was larger than i expected. the communal areas had comfortable seating by the windows. there was ample seating on the terrace and in the garden.
i noticed very loud music on sunday and monday evenings. it came from a marquee function and kept us awake until midnight.

the hotel offers ample parking, and electric vehicle charging is available (it's free!). log fires are present, particularly lovely during november. the hotel grounds are lovely.
