mixed feelings about this stay

falling down curtains dated room
The room was a bit rough around the edges. curtains seemed to be staging a breakaway from the rails, so that was fun. also, the room seemed like it was straight out of the '80s. A little updating wouldn't hurt, you know? seriously, it seemed like a time warp.

close location acceptable location moldy shower dirty handrail
the location was acceptable because it was close to the pier.
The room i booked, a double room private bathroom, had several issues. The shower was moldy, and some of the paintwork looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. the stair handrail was also quite dirty. I do not think it had been wiped in ages.

comfortable stay with nice breakfast

comfortable bedding great view central location
i found the bedding comfortable and the room clean. the view of the orme from the window was great. breakfast included fruit and cereal plus hot food to order i liked that. the location is central and useful for seeing the area or walking.
my room had been advertised as 'superior king room' but the curtains and blackouts were hanging off the rails. there were two large single glazed windows that let in street noise. i think repairs are needed.
