decent stay

walk in shower helpful staff delicious breakfast poor heating bad lighting missing desk light
the room was really lovely. the walk in shower and bathroom facility were a total treat, we loved it! the staff were so cheerful and helpful, a real plus. plus, the breakfast was the best i've ever had in british hotels. it was delicious with a really good choice.
the heating in the room was quite poor and inadequate. lighting in the room was also badly designed. there wasn't a desk light on the desk, so it was hard to write or even just make a drink. i wish there had been better planning for these.
