a few issues

faulty tv mount stinky shower
The tv mount was half hanging off the wall. walking around the room caused the wardrobe doors to knock. the shower stunk so badly i couldn't use it. It made me heave. these issues definitely impacted my birthday weekend.

Really good Anniversary Celebration!

romantic arrangement delicious steak fantastic staff
Our anniversary was amazing from the start! Our room had a beautiful arrangement with petals and Prosecco, setting such a romantic mood. We ate steak. It was seriously the best we've ever tasted. The staff were fantastic.
The mini toiletries are limited. Consider bringing your preferred brands.

old sash windows unpleasant smell
The staff was friendly. The onsite restaurant provided very good food.
The bedroom was too warm. I opened the old sash windows, but I worried they wouldn't close. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell and required some attention.

the location was lovely. the gardens had beautiful views. the breakfast had a varied choice, a good way to start the day.
the shower temperature could not be reduced. it was either very hot or freezing cold, i found it uncomfortable. the room was warm despite opening the windows, i had to sleep with a fan on. this made for an uncomfortable night as well!

my room included a super clean environment. staff were friendly. They catered to all requests i had. it also offered easy access to routes that took me to tourist attractions.
the bedroom was warm, and i had to open the old sash windows.

the location had a magical feel as I drove through the woods. my room was spacious, it was comfortable too. the food impressed me at both the evening meal and breakfast.
