The pool was a HUGE letdown. it felt way too small and shallow. Swimming was impossible because it was overcrowded. the bar and restaurant seemed understaffed, made things slow. i was queueing forever just to pay inflated prices. not acceptable!

some issues detract from the location

slow service extra fee
the location of the hotel is good for exploring the surrounding area.
the bar staff seemed inexperienced and inattentive i noticed drinks sat ready but service was slow. access to the spa requires an extra £25 fee between 9am and 5pm even for hotel guests. the spa pool felt cool so it was hard to relax properly.

excellent service makes it special

humorous staff special occasion warm handshake
I visited with family for a special occasion. the staff stood out! mark anticipated every need at our dinner table with a great sense of humor. antonio delivered the cake, he wished my partner happy birthday with a warm handshake. the team here is really good. I think it's worth visiting just for the wonderful service.
I've visited this hotel multiple times and the location is ideal for exploring nearby areas. however, paying a fee to use the spa during the day felt disappointing. allowing guests complimentary access or a minimal fee would improve the experience. I think.
