the staff were very attentive and friendly i found attention to detail perfect in each area the food was the best i have had in a long while i hope to visit again soon since the current owners are planning great things for an already beautiful house
the menu could use more choices i think also the library needs a sofa like the ones in the bar i wanted to read there but the chairs weren't comfy it would be a superb room with a really comfy sofa to sit on in front of the fire to read a book etc the bed was on the small side

the rooms? not great! i mean, i was told the place has new owners, so apparently it's not their fault the rooms aren't up to scratch. still, maybe lower the prices until you fix that window. people can see right into the toilet from outside!
