missing toiletries faulty phone number
The hotel description mentioned toiletries, but i found none. Luckily i had my own shampoo, so i used it for hand washing and showering. it would be better not to advertise something they don't provide. there were no staff present. The only contact method was a phone number, though it didn't work! i wonder what would happen in an emergency, though.

clean room coffee maker comfy bed tricky kettle wifi connection hot room
the room was clean. i also had a coffee maker with coffee powder and milk. the bed was super comfy.
the kettle was tricky to fill under the tap. the wifi connection dropped frequently. the room was quite hot, and there were no windows to open.

superb seaside escape
coffee machine soft pillows
the room was modern. it featured a proper coffee machine. i found a chocolate left on my towels. the soft pillows and loads of cushions made for a restful night.
The shower only had a hot option, so i could not adjust the temperature. It was a scalding experience. i could only splash myself with a bit of water because of this issue.

The room included a large flat screen tv and a convenient dressing table with a three way mirror. a fridge offered additional convenience. The large window with a seating area enhanced the room.

Accessing the hotel was easy with the key available from the key box outside the gate. the balcony space provided nice views overlooking the sea. The location offered a long nice walk into the city center.

lovely room near the seafront
sea view mini fridge motion lighting
i really liked the location with a superb sea view. a mini fridge in the room was also helpful. i could store some drinks and snacks. motion sensored lighting was available outside in the hallway too.
the low score is entirely due to problems accessing the hotel.

the hotel doesn't have on-site dining but you can find several good restaurants with various cuisines nearby and i found this convenient. i ate at a charming italian restaurant and a traditional pub.

the hotel has a rear courtyard which offers eclectic seating areas. i noticed many beautiful plants and bulbs and they added a touch of color, even in the winter. the courtyard is well planned too.

i asked the friendly cleaning lady for clean towels and she provided them promptly. she left a bag with fresh towels right outside my room after my request. i found her helpfulness a plus.

the room included a tea and coffee station. it provided all the necessities to make a hot drink anytime. i think this addition.
