the hotel sits right in the town center, a short walk provides access to shops and cafes. the room included coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and biscuits. gales wine bar had very helpful staff, they showed us where to park and explained room access.
i found it hard to contact management, this is a reception-less hotel. the water heater in the shower was hard to use as it was too hot or too cold. i struggled to set it to a comfortable temperature.

mixed feelings about the stay.

unclear instructions stressful situation
check-in was definitely a struggle. there were no prior instructions. i arrived late and found no reception, just a poster with phone numbers. the bar next door eventually helped, but it caused unnecessary stress and frustration. i also expected an apology, but received nothing.
