lovely stay!

well kept grounds helpful staff fresh food
The grounds are very well kept, offering beautiful scenery. staff members were cute and helpful throughout my stay. the food was fresh and homemade. I found the potions very good. i especially liked the tranquil atmosphere. It really contributed to the overall experience.
The bar closed early. I wish i had been informed of the closing time earlier.

The room had a fabulous view. The Mellington suite included a feature four poster bed. The enormous jacuzzi bath WAS a great plus for me.
The bar closed SO early. It closed at 9 o'clock. Then staff turned almost all the lights off. The restaurant offered little more than standard pub fare.

the hotel had a cute wood fire. the room, a superior double room, was excellent with country views. it was full of comfort. the grounds are manicured and contain metal artwork.
the charges were quite high.

The restaurant was disappointing. It seemed like a greek night menu, but it was very average. a la carte was unavailable, and staff said the kitchen was too busy. it took a long time for food to arrive, and i was overcharged for drinks we didn't even have.

basic breakfast poor mussels
the location was peaceful with very beautiful grounds.
i had some issues with the food. the breakfast seemed basic for the price of the room and there were only a few cut up grapes available. i also thought the mussels were overcooked and the lamb shoulder was not good.
