the room was clean and everything was in order upon arrival.
i booked a 'superior double room', but the low beams were a real issue. i am quite tall (over six feet), so i kept bumping my head. this.

Acceptable Stay, but Some Issues

missing breakfast intrusive beams
The room was very clean.
There was no breakfast available at all. I found the low beams in the attic room to be intrusive. It significantly reduced the usable space. I probably would not have booked here had I known it was room-only.

The room had tea and coffee making facilities. the shower was great, really powerful, and the windows were big and let in lots of light. the location is fantastic. The beach is close enough to walk to, and a shop is only two minutes away.
there was no breakfast available at the hotel. i expected breakfast to be offered. also, the room we booked had low beams. i'm quite tall, so that might have affected my perception more.

low beams lack of breakfast
Our superior double room felt smaller than advertised. Low beams made moving around difficult. this was a real problem. also. The lack of breakfast was frustrating. i assumed breakfast would be included. And i was not happy to discover it was not. the websites should clearly state that breakfast isn't available. It is very misleading.
