the room cleanliness was initially a problem upon arrival the room had not been properly cleaned. after a long journey i wanted a refreshing shower but the power shower was only lukewarm. the noise from the bar downstairs continued until 2am disrupting sleep this made rest difficult.

i found the central location very useful for exploring the area. the room was clean and had a tv i appreciated. staff allowed me to store my bags after checkout i could then explore the castle. it was close to restaurants and the on-site restaurant was convenient.
the shower had weak water flow. the wardrobe lacked sufficient hangers. the pub was noisy late into the night.

the room was clean I found the bed comfortable and the shower lovely. staff topped up coffee supplies daily before i needed to ask. i could see the sea from my window and observe the tide times.
