The breakfast each morning was delicious. I had the full Welsh everyday and it was great. A help yourself table had juice and cereal available. My son and his girlfriend joined me at the restaurant. We all received perfectly cooked meals.
The tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom are very basic. The kettle could not be left to turn off automatically. The shower FAN did not work. The fire alarm went off at about 11.30pm.
The hotel is thoughtfully themed around slate, including the color scheme. the staff were helpful and courteous. the room was spacious and well appointed, as was the shower room with a spacious walk-in shower. I loved that. the restaurant prepared fabulously tasty meals but the portions were huge.
the bed was too springy for my taste, it was a slight issue.

The staff were friendly. Car parking was available.
I must say, the shower kept cutting out during use, quite irritating. cleanliness could improve. I spotted some mold around the shower. The food did not justify its price. Maybe i expected too much.
