Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Gwynfryn, a beautifully restored chapel, is often praised for its excellent location in central Conwy, placing guests within easy reach of the castle and other attractions. The spacious rooms, some featuring stand-alone baths and four-poster beds, provide comfortable accommodation, though a few guests in the Elizabeth room have mentioned the narrow and steep stairs to the top floor. Breakfast, served in the character-filled chapel, is a highlight, with many finding it substantial and delicious enough to negate the need for lunch.

a mixed experience

the room was clean.
the bathroom situation was quite odd. to reach it, i had to go downstairs and then back up again (very strange setup!). this meant i had to leave lights on during the night, and my sleep suffered.

The room was clean as new and included spotlessly clean bedding.
I phoned about parking and the person's tone was dismissive. Upon arrival, I was directed to the vestry room but not shown the way. The place IS a labyrinth. His behavior was REALLY repugnant so I declined breakfast.
