Wonderful Stay at a Quiet Location

friendly ownerslovely groundsgreat breakfast
The breakfast was AMAZING!!! I chose avocado on toast with poached eggs, while my husband enjoyed a full English breakfast. My daughter had jam on toast with a pain au chocolat. Fresh juice, coffee, and tea were also available. I found the owners super friendly, kind, and helpful. They offered great local information. The grounds are gorgeous, kept lovely, and so pretty!!!
Facilities
9/10
The car park offers ample space for numerous vehicles and it is convenient. The hotel is near a railway track. I didn't once hear a train pass, it was very quiet. The location provides a short drive to Barmouth and a quick trip to local attractions.
Dining
10/10
A comprehensive breakfast included both cooked items from a menu and a long row of serve-yourself options. I appreciated the good coffee and fresh juice available each morning. The breakfast setting was really nice and very inviting.
Rooms
8/10
The room featured a double bed, a single bed, a wardrobe, and a dressing table with tea and coffee facilities. A really good sized en suite bathroom with a shower cubicle was also included. I found biscuits, two bedside tables, and great views from the top floor.

adequate stay near the coast

friendly hostsrestful nightgood breakfastsingle viewmeadow viewinstant coffee
the hosts were very friendly and helpful. i had a really restful night. i enjoyed a good breakfast before walking to catch my train! the owners were having some work done.
the room i chose had a sea view and a meadow view. i expected these to be from different windows. on arrival i found it was a single view containing a large amount of meadow and a not insignificant sliver of sea. the coffee was not good. they were providing instant coffee in coffee pots as if it was fresh brew.
