a wonderful stay
onsite parking short walk friendly owners
i appreciated the convenient on-site parking. a short walk took me downhill into town , which was very accessible. the owners were friendly and helpful. the room was spacious with a large ensuite bathroom.

spacious room coffee tray breakfast options
the room was spacious, i noticed a private bathroom across the hall. it was not what i expected, but it worked out well. a tea and coffee tray with fresh milk was available in the room. breakfast included cereal, juice, fruit, toast and a choice of croissant, pancake, shakshuka or bacon, sausage and eggs!
the wi-fi signal was a bit weak.

Really good stay with lovely views
amazing garden friendly owners warm welcome useful explanation
The house had an amazing garden. The owners seemed friendly. I found them helpful. The welcome I received was very warm. I was shown around. I appreciated the explanation about the house amenities.
The weather was unseasonably cold. I thought some heating in the bathroom would have been useful.

The breakfast room offered great views! The choice of breakfast included fruit, cereal, toast. cooked options. I found the variety quite satisfying and freshly prepared.

Our room overlooked the pretty garden. I enjoyed the views across the valley. The room itself was very spacious. It was spotlessly clean. Our private bathroom featured a very good shower.

The location provides easy access to town. The views from the hotel are wonderful! I suggest you follow the directions provided by the host. The roads around the hotel are quite narrow.

room temperature soundproofing issue
the breakfast options were acceptable, though i wouldn't write home about them.
I wasn't thrilled with the room temperature. It felt a bit drafty, even for spring. also, the soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear other guests moving about quite clearly. it was particularly noticeable early in the morning.
