some issues with cleanliness
polite staffdirty room
the staff were really polite when i checked in and there was no hassle.
the room seemed ok at first, but i quickly saw it was very dirty. i saw something like rice krispies all over one of the bedside tables and on the carpet. i kept getting them stuck to my feet!

the staff proved helpful with local hike tips, so i suppose that was acceptable.
The room lacked air-con, a real issue because i visited in summer. the single small window and the plug-in fan barely helped. thorough cleaning around the plug holes would certainly improve things. Limescale was very obvious.

The staff were lovely and helpful!!! i appreciated the lady who checked me in. the food in the restaurant was also delicious, and the staff were very efficient and polite. the room included a very spacious layout and an amazing shower!!!

The hotel is near the lake. there are many nearby local attractions, which guests may appreciate. the hotel offers parking for our car until late on the checkout day. This is a nice bonus.

pet friendly roomfire exitown section
the staff gave me a pet friendly room. the room was next to a fire exit. this way, my dog did not have to walk through the hotel. i ate dinner in the restaurant and got my own section.
the room was a little old fashioned.
