mixed feelings about this place

the staff was very helpful.
There was no hot water in the sink or shower until hours after i checked in. two high steps into the shower could be difficult for some people. to charge my phone, i had to unplug the tv. It didn't even work anyway.

The staff was helpful and always available! They gave excellent recommendations for local walks and attractions. The room was super clean and very comfortable. I found plenty of parking spaces outside the hotel, a HUGE plus for me.
The continental breakfast had a limited selection.

The Double Room Private Bathroom had a comfortable bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The shower had great water pressure, AMAZING!!! Tea and coffee facilities were also available, great for a relaxing start to the day.

I tried the lamb burgers and found them excellent. They were locally produced. The drink selection in the bar was also really good, I appreciate this detail a lot. The pub provided a lively atmosphere with a great selection of beers.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring local trails, including the Cynfal waterfall trail, just a short walk away. Ffestiniog power station is a short drive away and features lovely views. I enjoyed the proximity to many natural sights.

the mattress let me feel the springs, and i only had one pillow. the shower pressure was weak.
