adequate stay overall

friendly staff good dinner missing bathmat unrepaired ceiling
the staff was friendly and helpful. the dinner and breakfast were good quality. i found the room to have been recently refurbished to a good standard.
i noticed there could have been bath towels and a mat to stand on in the shower. i had to ask for towels and only two bath towels were provided with no bath mat. the flush button for the toilet was not present so i had to press a small plastic button instead. the ceiling in the bathroom looked like it had a water leak at some point though this had not been repaired.

spacious room helpful staff
our room had good facilities it was spacious and clean. the location was perfect for our needs. the staff were friendly and helpful with our bags. i found the decor to be quirky and interesting.
the car park was a bit limited. we found space on the road in front of the place though.

some issues encountered

loud extractor fan thin walls
the extractor fan ran constantly it was loud i could hear it from morning until late i also had issues with noise from other guests the walls felt thin i could hear conversations clearly it. the promised sea view was a stretch it was more of a glimpse if you leaned right up to the window. parking was also a hassle limited bays meant i had to pay extra elsewhere

friendly staff large room decent breakfast
The staff were really friendly and helpful (especially at reception). My room was quite large and very clean. Breakfast offered good value and quality. I also noticed the building is undergoing some restoration, nice to see.
