quiet location fine gardens friendly staff
The location provided a quiet retreat. The gardens were fine, with a PERFECT place for a stroll. I found the staff very friendly and helpful, willing to go above and beyond. The breakfast included a full Welsh cooked selection.

adequate stay, but some issues

slow service wasted time
the parking was quite convenient.
It took far too long for someone to appear when i rang the bell to check in (i waited five minutes). it also took ten minutes to get someone at the bar to take my order. i eventually gave up and went elsewhere because no one ever came to the table even after confirming my order. That was just like a complete waste of time.

friendly staff fine garden great breakfast makeover need quality lacking understaffed hotel
The staff were super friendly and helpful . I really appreciated that. the gardens are fine. It was a perfect spot for a relaxing stroll! breakfast was great, it was included too.
the room had a makeover needed, with some repairs necessary, sadly. the evening meals were huge, but they lacked in quality and presentation, i thought. the hotel seemed understaffed, noticeable at times.

The family room was spacious, almost like a small apartment with TVs in each room. I found the bathroom had a nice large bath , made relaxing easy. The grounds surrounding the building were beautiful and well-kept.
