i found the african double room to be very unique. the room had a fridge stocked with breakfast items and tea. the bed and mattress were very comfortable.
there was a noticeable dog smell in the hallway upon arrival. the carpets looked worn and the air freshener scent was strong, slightly off-putting.

quirky stay with some drawbacks

The room felt quite cramped. there wasn't really a comfortable spot to sit and eat the provided breakfast other than the bed! also, the noise isolation was not good. I could hear a lot of activity from other rooms and the hallway. this made it difficult to relax completely at night. the walls seemed thin, and every footstep echoed.

The decor was too much (in my opinion). soundproofing was nonexistent. i heard everything from footsteps to voices. parking was a nightmare.

The room was clean and spacious with all needed facilities. The breakfast was good (i especially liked the variety of yogurts).
I found a musty smell in the room. The walls were thin and provided no soundproofing, so noise from other rooms was easily heard.
