large double bed bath shower helpful fan busy pub dinner table stressful parking
the room featured a large double bed. it included a bath and a shower. i found a fan in the room, very helpful. there were plenty of plugs available for charging devices.
the pub was very busy , except in the mornings. i was unable to book a dinner table after 6 pm. the only available space was in a cramped corner of the bar. the parking situation was also quite stressful.

a charming stay
warm reception beautiful room lovely beams
the reception felt very cute , especially with the lady phoning ahead to check our arrival time. on arrival, the lady greeted us warmly. she gave us a beautiful room, complete with lovely beams and feeling like a little flat.
i found some mould in one corner of the bathroom. this could be easily sorted. otherwise , the bathroom was quite nice and clean.

the room included a large, comfortable bed perfect for a relaxing sleep. it also featured a tv , an iron, and a hairdryer for added convenience. coffee and tea making facilities were available , alongside ample plugs for all our devices.

charming stay!
double bed tea facilities room plugs
the room included a fantastic large double bed, a bath, and a shower. there was also a tv, an iron, and a hairdryer. coffee and tea facilities were available along with a fan, amazing. i found plenty of plugs in the room!!!
the pub and restaurant were constantly full, except in the morning. we weren't allowed to reserve a table for dinner after 6 pm. i found a table squashed in a corner of the bar, busy and chaotic.

small window excessive cost
the room was far too small. the window overlooked some unattractive roofing. it felt warm and stuffy, despite the fan provided not helping much. the bathroom also felt cramped. i believe the room cost was excessive given these issues. i expected a far better standard.

Acceptable Stay with a Letdown
The location was fantastic.
The phone contact provided was a pre recorded answerphone in Welsh first and then in English. It rambled on for over five minutes and then advised that they don't answer it before hanging up.

Excellent Stay in Historic Inn
convenient location comfy bed
I appreciated the convenient location with easy access. The room was a good size with a comfy bed. The staff were efficient at check-in and responded promptly to my questions. The staff enhanced my experience with their attentive and professional diligence.
I found the room to be a bit small. The windows faced the playground, and the seating area was right above the restaurant tables. This resulted in a stuffy and hot room, even with a fan running.
