the room was very clean. the food choices were plentiful. i found the beer to be of good quality. the staff were friendly and helpful .
the furniture seemed old and worn. the online description mentioned refurbished rooms, but that was not my experience. the bathroom smelled strongly of chlorine when i arrived. the smell was quite overwhelming.

the location was great for walks i had planned
i found someone else's socks left in a drawer i also found an earring under the bed the room was noisy with the door constantly banging and the phone always ringing in warm weather i had to keep the window open and it was above the pub smoking area which i did not like
