totally fantastic stay!

the room was spacious with fantastic views! i loved the two chairs and a real table in the room. the teabags were pg tips!

The location was surprisingly quiet. this is despite the proximity to the a5. it's not really a holiday hotel, though the premises offer a great overnight stop. We loved how close everything was!

the breakfast was cooked to order. friendly staff served it. the shower worked well with plenty of room in the bathroom for toiletries.
the hotel is showing its age, i noticed frayed hand towel. the stair carpet seemed worn. the pub next to the hotel wasn't serving food in the evenings, so i had to drive to find a meal.
