The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a kettle with mugs, tea, and coffee provided. The location proved excellent, being near the beach, shops, and bars. I found the car park at the rear very useful.
I noticed the sponge in the kitchen looked quite old.

Acceptable Stay Near the Promenade

The location was quite convenient. It was very close to the promenade. The communal kitchen was well-equipped.
The bathroom seemed basic. I found no toiletries such as soap or shampoo. Showers in the free-standing bath splashed water all over the floor.

the location was great near the sea, i appreciated being close to the town. the free parking in the back was useful. it helped me to have a spot for my car.
the bedroom seemed a little worn. it needed a revamp and proper cleaning. the divans looked a bit shredded, and there was an unused wall heater taking up space.

a decent stay overall

great location shared kitchen quiet street cold room shared bathroom ineffective heater
location were great. it were near the prom, cinema, trains, pubs and town. it was also a quiet street, so i slept good. there a shared kitchen i used with other guests and it were well equipped.
the room were cold even with an extra blanket. the bathroom was shared and just ok. it just needed a touch of paint to tidy it up. a small portable space heater were there, but it didnt have much effect.

the kitchen was very well equipped. coffee was refilled in the room each morning (a nice touch). self check-in was smooth and efficient.
my top floor room was a bit small.

the hotel is centrally located, very close to the town center. it is also right in front of the seaside (i could hear the waves). the train station is easily accessible from this spot.
