tired decor musty smell
The on-street parking wasn't ideal (I prefer knowing my car is secure). The room itself needed some work. The decor felt old and tired, and the carpet had seen better days. The toilet door had some damage, and there was a noticeable musty smell in the room. I suspect the smell came from the shower being directly in the room without a separate bathroom.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, I noticed. The bed provided a comfortable sleep, and the room was clean, I thought. I found the location quite convenient to the center, which aided my travels. The price seemed reasonable considering these aspects, I must say.
I spotted only a very slight negative aspect, there was only street parking available.

The hotel was close to the passport office. This was important for my early appointment. the staff was friendly and check-in was easy. the hotel was quiet, and i slept well in the comfortable bed. the price represented excellent value for my overnight stay..

basic stay with some problems
poor insulation sticky remote
location to city centre was good for value.
noise insulation was not good. noisy guests were heard through the walls. carpet had stains and the tv remote was sticky. hard to get a good nights sleep.
