Cozy Stay with AMAZING Breakfast!

great communication delicious breakfast comfortable lounge
The communication was great, and the breakfast was very nice!!! I had the best sleep score I had in months. The room was lovely and warm, and the kitchen and lounge was comfortable. I was ecstatic when I received a message offering me a delicious cooked breakfast at my chosen time.
The toilet and shower shared with the other guests were very basic, like a very basic campsite. I had to go outside and across the gravel path in the night to reach it. It felt chilly, and I couldn't face a shower.
Facilities
9/10
The kitchen provides cooking stuff and a fridge, super useful. My room had a comfy lounge with a gas fire too. These facilities really added value to my stay. I felt very well equipped and cozy.
Service
10/10
Sarah was amazing! She was so warm and friendly, but not intrusive at all. Her son also provided great advice about where to go for a walk. I appreciated the morning call that ensured I didn't miss breakfast.

basic facilities open shed
I found a couple of things less than thrilling , to be honest. The advertised cooking facilities were pretty basic , I think 'basic' is the correct word. The washing up area was in a shed that was open on one side. I imagine that could be less than ideal if it rained.

amazing breakfast pre check-in information helpful owner basic toilet gravel path limited privacy
The breakfast was amazing. The owner provided information prior to check-in. The owner showed me around the facilities upon arrival.
The toilet and shower were very basic. I had to go outside across the gravel path at night to reach them. Privacy was limited because the walls and doors did not reach the ground.

the breakfast included a wide variety of options. there was a dedicated sitting room for relaxation (.. ) the kitchen had all necessary equipment.
the shepherds hut only had a hook and eye for locking at night. this closure did not seem adequate and i did not feel completely secure.

cozy cabin retreat

cozy cabin tea supplies friendly staff
the cabin was cozy, and the kettle with tea supplies was a nice touch. having parking close by made things easy. the staff were friendly and cute (especially sarah!). the enclosed area for my dog gave me peace of mind.
the shepherd's hut had only a hook and eye for locking at night, it didn't fully close the door, i didn't feel entirely safe.

Charming Cabin Getaway

warm cabin separate lounge quality ingredients
I loved the warm cabin. The separate lounge. The cooked breakfast tasted really good with such quality ingredients. I'd book it again sometime.
The shared toilet and shower were very basic, like a basic campsite facility. Access to them required a walk outside on a gravel path, especially unpleasant at night.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast was a highlight. I had a full breakfast with cereal, yoghurt, and toast. The ingredients seemed fresh, and I enjoyed it all in the separate lounge.
Rooms
8/10
The room was warm, cozy, and clean. There was also a little sitting room with a gas burner. The hut felt secure, especially with the comfortable bed provided.
Location
9/10
The location was quiet and beautiful. The garden added a lovely touch. I found the setup of the cabins in the yard to be quite pleasant.
