FSC RHYD-Y-CREUAU HOSTEL, Betws-y-Coed

Rhyd-y-Creuau Hostel sits within a 2.2-hectare estate located in Snowdonia National Park. The historic Georgian country house is surrounded by cascading rivers, wooded hillsides, and glaciated valleys. It is close to various recreational sites, including Zip World Fforest, offering multiple outdoor adventure options.

The hostel provides a selection of 32 rooms accommodating up to 100 guests, with a variety of twin and bunk bedded arrangements. Options include three, four, five, eight, and ten bedded rooms adapted for diverse group needs. All linens are provided for a comfortable stay.

Rhyd-y-Creuau Hostel serves freshly prepared seasonal meals, including breakfast, packed lunches, and evening meals. The menu caters to most dietary needs, with ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. The hostel proudly holds the Soil Association's Food for Life Served Here Bronze Award.

Children aged 8 and older can engage in games and activities available on-site. The hostel offers a dedicated games room fitted with a pool table, football table, and table tennis table. While there are provisions for younger children, the center focuses on providing enriching experiences for older kids.

The hostel includes outdoor spaces such as a biodiversity garden, campfire area, and two ponds, along with a stream. Walking boots, wellingtons, and waterproof clothing are available for hire to facilitate exploration of the surroundings. Visitors can enjoy a 10-minute well-being walkway across the grounds.
