perfect stop on the line

I walked from the train station to the hotel. It was SO close. the trains did not disturb my sleep at night. i slept on a comfy bed with crisp, clean sheets. the tea and coffee facilities were very nice in my room.
i found that the building showed VERY slight signs of ongoing refurbishment.

the building had a historic look. the room was very clean. the location worked because shops and restaurants were close. check-in was also easy.
the entrance looked a bit worn, affecting the first impression of the hotel.

The room was spacious with a big bed. it seemed like it had newly installed carpeting. i liked that they provided porridge for breakfast with sachets and bowls. That was a nice touch.
