Lovely Stay with Plenty to REJOICE about

four poster bed refreshment tray
The four poster bed REALLY impressed me. It was comfortable and spacious. The ensuite bathroom included a bath, very inviting for a relaxing soak after a long day. The refreshment tray also featured ground coffee and a coffee pot, thoughtful touch to the room.
I was unaware that our room was located 'in back of house'. A narrow spiral staircase led up to it. This detail was missing from the description and we could not get our large suitcases up there. This should be mentioned .

The staff provided a very friendly and warm welcome. The proprietor offered helpful assistance . I APPRECIATED the undisturbed relaxation in the beautiful surroundings.

burning fire local advice
the house included three sitting rooms. a fire burned in one sitting room giving a cute feeling. i received advice about local places to visit during breakfast.
the room was a bit too dark. the lighting was not sufficient and made it difficult to see well in the evenings.
