Excellent Stay with River Views
spacious room helpful staff well-kept grounds
The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. My room was spacious and included all standard amenities. I liked the powerful, hot shower. The grounds are very well kept and perfect for river walks.
The server did not know the menu well and could not answer questions about the dishes.

Breakfast included an immaculate breakfast room with river and hill views. The savoury stack afternoon tea featured homemade scones and tarts. Sausage rolls are also homemade and of divine quality , served in the beautiful restaurant.

picturesque riverside stay!
riverside land helpful staff
The hotel grounds featured riverside land. This provided great dog walking. breakfast proved very good, and the staff were helpful and friendly. i appreciated the great location near shops and restaurants.
i noticed the bathroom was dated. there was no walk-in shower, just a shower over the bath with a curtain. getting into the bath was difficult for me as a blue badge holder.

Breakfast included tasty welsh options. I especially enjoyed the welsh breakfast. the restaurant presented views over the gardens, as well as the river. i found this location peaceful.

the reception staff offered a warm welcome. the staff were courteous. they looked after me well. the server knew customer care and service, a lively redhead with a warm smile.

the grounds were well kept. the location proved fantastic on the river. the hotel offered a very nice and neat lodge, and i saw sheep grazing in the garden .

river scenery open fire
My river view room was lovely. It included a balcony and afforded really good river scenery. I welcomed the open fire in the lounge. It added real charm after a long walk.
The price seemed high. It didn't match my hotel expectations. I thought that they could adjust it.

river view really good food helpful staff
I enjoyed the river view from my Riverview Superking or Twin. The food in the restaurant tasted really good. I found the staff helpful!

basic sauce rotten spot
Our table had an very nice view. i saw a rainbow and a helicopter landed in the garden as i ate. the server was nice, but she did not know the menu. she wasn't bothered to ask the chef about dessert when another table inquired. the mains were disappointing. my chicken lacked color and care and the sauce was basic. The vegetarian mushroom had a rotten black spot.

maintained walkways cozy atmosphere
The location was tranquil. the grounds were well maintained with many walkways beside the river! i found the restaurant provided excellent food. The quality was excellent. a log fire created a cozy atmosphere in the bar area.
