The food was scrumptious. Staff were very helpful. The location is excellent for high street shops, as they are right outside the door. Beaumaris Castle is within walking distance too.
The car parking set up is poor as parking was unavailable.

worn carpetsneeded upgrade
the hotel did appear grand from the outside. inside, however, it felt more like an antique store. i saw cabinets full of items for sale, including an egg cup priced at £1.50. stair carpets were worn, and nails secured a frayed section. our room was disappointing. it clearly needed an upgrade.
