the staff's friendliness stood out a lot to me the hotel's central location was also excellent i could get everywhere easily the breakfast was quite good and i found it a great value i will definitely stay again next time. i found parking ideal too.
the room was dated and the shower pressure was low it took a while to use it the toilet did not always flush well and the room felt small for the price i paid there were also no sockets by the beds which was annoying.

my room had a nice view of the church and river it was cleaned daily by the housekeeping staff i never found any issues with the standard of cleaning there were fresh towels every day for me.

the hotel is very central to the town center which i appreciated there were plenty of amenities within walking distance of the hotel i could get to any shop that i needed to rather quickly from the hotel.

the hotel chef provides good food with a menu that offers a great choice there is also a good selection of wine and beer available at the bar they provide breakfast in a large lounge area every morning for all guests.

the breakfast buffet was decent and i could find something to eat.
my room was a disaster. the bathroom had peeling paint and the bed sagged in the middle, so i had a hard time sleeping. there was also a live band playing on saturday night. it was quite loud and made it difficult to relax.

faulty remotelimited sockets
the remote control for the tv didn't work. i told reception, and they said it needed new batteries, but they didn't replace them. also, there were only two plug sockets in room 42. not exactly convenient, is it?
