average stay , some concerns

cold room inadequate heating
The room was quite cold , even with the small electric heater they provided. There was NO place to dry wet clothes after a downpour , which was inconvenient. The lack of adequate heating made the bathroom particularly unpleasant , especially when showering.

Excellent Stay with Fine Views

estuary view warm shower breakfast choices pleasant staff
The room offered a lovely view of the estuary and Fairbourne in the distance. The room could be arranged as a twin or double, easily accommodating our preferences. The bathroom was well-kept, with consistently warm water in the shower. I found that there were four to five choices available for breakfast each morning.
The steep hill leading to the hotel presented a challenge. A taxi might be advisable for those unsteady on their feet wanting to go into town.
Service
9/10
The staff was consistently pleasant and professional. Clare, a member of the breakfast staff, provided helpful tips. These tips included what to do and where to eat during the evenings.
