Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Welshman's Arms offers recently renovated, spacious en-suite rooms, often described as boutique and spotlessly clean, some including a fridge and microwave for added convenience. The beds are frequently praised for their comfort, ensuring a good night's sleep. Being located above a pub, some guests have occasionally noted noise; however, many appreciate the lively atmosphere and the convenience, especially for a nightcap or a meal, with homemade food that's considered good value; its proximity to the ferry and amenities like Tesco's also adds to the appeal.

a decent stay

spacious roomclean roomfriendly stafftraffic noiseno breakfastwarm room
the room was spacious and clean. it included a nice ensuite (i really liked it). the pub downstairs created a lively atmosphere, even though i didn't spend much time there. the staff were friendly and helpful, directing me to nearby restaurants.
the room faced a main road and i noticed some traffic noise. i couldn't open the window because of it. there was no breakfast available and no one told me. the room got warm and no cutlery was available.
