charming stay

helpful stafffriendly atmosphereriver walksrear parking
The staff accommodated me at the restaurant on a busy saturday night, even when fully booked. i appreciated that as a solo traveller the staff. The friendly atmosphere was lovely. the location near the river allowed for pleasant walks, though it was a bit rural. parking was at the rear of the pub, something i found helpful.
The room's tea and coffee were all decaf. This was disappointing because there was no breakfast available.

The staff was very polite and showed me to my room. they were attentive to my needs . This. i found this especially helpful since i was travelling alone.
Rooms

The room was clean. the bed provided comfort, though a firmer mattress would have been preferable. despite the compact size, the room's layout was functional and stylish. This was a plus.
Dining

The restaurant offered delicious food cooked to order. the chef, raymond, checked on guests after the meal to ensure satisfaction. i found the jamaican twist on pub food good. I had never experienced such a unique blend before.
Facilities

The inn had a charming garden for sitting outside. there was a coffee and tea machine with biscuits available for self-service in the morning. the location provided a short walk to the village. This was a great convenience.
