Fantastic Visit, A True Gem!

friendly staff comfortable bed excellent food
I just loved the friendly staff, they are always so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, fantastic. The room was really nice. I found the bed comfortable. The food was excellent too. It is a quiet location!
I did notice some cobwebs. I also saw some dead flies in a few places. The toilet in my room looked unchecked, it was soiled when I arrived. I cleaned it myself.

The staff was friendly and helpful. i particularly enjoyed the smashing breakfast and the sunny courtyard was perfect for early evening drinks. the dinner was fantastic. I found a very good chef at work here.

wonderful and accommodating stay!

friendly atmosphere stocked bar modern toilet
holly and her team offered a very friendly atmosphere. they were cute and so accommodating. i watched the football with locals in their well stocked bar and enjoyed a relaxed experience. my room featured a nice mixture of classic and modern styles. the bathroom had a modern toilet, shower, sink and mirror.

somewhat dissapointing stay

poor dinner storage absence
The lack of storage was a real issue. i stayed for several nights and no wardrobe existed. even the bathroom lacked shelves so toiletries just cluttered the sink. dinner was quite a letdown because i waited ages for a steak that was not very good. This certainly hurt the experience.

I enjoyed a wonderful evening meal. The October special set menu was a treat. The choices were good and priced fairly. The food was good and the service was faultless. I found such a gem so close to home!
I did notice that the hotel lacked a wardrobe. It also lacked storage facilities suitable for my stay.

the staff was very friendly. the room was great and the food was lovely. i will definitely stay again.
i found cobwebs in most places. there were also dead flies. the toilet in the room had not been checked and was soiled on arrival, so i cleaned it myself.
