mixed experience due to noise and upkeep
significant noise filthy stairway
The noise from the downstairs pub was significant. it was like i was directly above a nightclub until late. the stairway to the room was also quite filthy. I noticed it each time i entered or exited. i expect better cleanliness in common areas.

A Good Stay
helpful staff first-floor bedroom
The staff were helpful. They made sure my partner had a first-floor bedroom because he struggles with stairs after a knee operation. The room was super clean and had everything we needed, including crisps and biscuits. A balcony with a table and chairs allowed us to enjoy coffee and snacks. It was a gem. I had complimentary water and tea. There were also coffee facilities.

The hotel offers lovely food. I also found non-alcoholic beers, a good addition! Unfortunately the hours for the food service were not clear, I wish they had been.
