I had a room with a sea view. The room was bright. I found nice tea and coffee facilities inside. The shower worked well.
The hotel seemed old fashioned. I noticed the ceiling in my room had a crack. It looked like there had been a leak. I could hear noise at night. I heard floors creaking.

a good seaside escape

friendly staff interesting building
i found the staff helpful with information about the town. the room was comfortable and warm, which i very much appreciate on an autumn visit. the building had an interesting historical feel, an element of surprise around every corner.
navigating the building proved awkward, mainly due to many steps. this could be tricky for less mobile guests. the one lift holds only two people and became sought after, because of the stairs and multi levels.
