Excellent Décor and Convenient Location

warm welcome beautiful bed coffee machine
Amy at reception welcomed us warmly and was very friendly. We got upgraded to the Heart of Oak room and it includes a beautiful four poster bed. The bathroom provided beautiful decor and was fresh and very clean. I used the coffe machine with ample refills of milk.
Soundproofing was not good, I could hear every other guest moving around. This could be because it was a period hotel.

This location offered access to the city center and marina areas. There are excellent restaurants and museums located nearby. The hotel is located within walking distance of shopping areas and the marina.

helpful staff nice towels effective air conditioning
the staff were very polite and helpful. the bathroom included nice towels, bathrobes, and toiletries. i found the room to have effective air conditioning.
i noticed that the reception area was actually located across the street at another building.

the room was clean with lovely complimentary toiletries. staff was friendly at check in. the building had character, not like a chain hotel.
the reception wasnt cute BECAUSE it IS over the road at morgans. i needed gluten free and vegan food for breakfast but no attempt were made to cater for that. breakfast was disappointing.

lovely stay in a superior room

superior room coffee maker friendly staff
I stayed in a superior double room. It was clean. the tea and coffee maker in the room had plenty of choice. the staff were super friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. breakfast had lots of choice and everything was fresh.
The soundproofing wasn't very good. I could hear every other guest moving around. it was maybe because it was a period hotel. i think better soundproofing is necessary.

the room was recently refurbished with a very comfortable bed. the softest towels i've used in a long time were in my room! my room was lovely, beautifully decorated, and provided a great atmosphere.

Brand new nespresso coffee machine was in the room with a generous selection of capsules. there are 2 ev chargers available in the hotel parking lot. the bar area was really nice. It was pleasant.

the location was great! only a few minutes walk from the marina and wind street. it is a good 10 minute walk to the centre. there are many eating places near the location!

The room felt spacious. Breakfast had delicious items prepared with good products. The location is near facilities I needed. The hotel has parking, with EV chargers available.
The hotel is close to a busy road, causing some noise. The windows did little to block sounds. I didn't get much sleep because of the traffic.
