cracked sink loud pipes
the bathroom was definitely showing its age. the sink had a crack, and getting the water temperature right in the shower was a real challenge (it was either freezing or scalding). i could also hear pipes clanging for a good portion of the night, and that did not help me relax at all. (i was really tired after all that travel!)

Satisfactory Stay

spacious room tea facilities big towels quick wi-fi
The room was spacious and included tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was big and clean (I especially appreciated the big, clean towels). The Wi-Fi speed was super quick. Parking was easy and straightforward.
The mattress on the bed was poor. I could feel the springs when lying down.
Location
9/10
The hotel is a twenty-minute drive from the international pool (very convenient for the swimming competition I attended). Buses to the city center run from the bottom of the road, offering easy access to attractions.
Dining
8/10
Only a few pieces of meat, scattered bread, and some drinks were available during breakfast. Traditional British breakfast was available for some guests. Others were not offered it. I was not asked about it.
