Guests consistently appreciate the spacious rooms, many of which feature conveniences like a fridge, microwave, and tea-making facilities. The breakfast is frequently mentioned as being good, with sufficient choice. The hotel's location offers convenient access to the train station and M4, making it easy to reach Cardiff and Swansea, while nearby attractions like The Royal Mint Experience, McArthur Glen Shopping, and Colty Castle offer plenty to explore; a few guests have, however, noted that the property is showing its age in some areas.

The staff seemed nice enough.
The noise from other guests slamming doors at all hours became irritating. I thought quiet hours were a thing. Perhaps not here I guess. The doors are clearly not soundproof.

The room had an old and dirty carpet. I noticed spiders and spiderwebs in every corner. The outside space was not well maintained, in my opinion.
