quiet atmospherecharming settingensuite shower
The location was BEAUTIFUL, close to Barmouth and Dolgellau. Fabulous rooms, cleaned everyday. Ours had the best view. The en-suite shower WAS a joy! It's quiet and charming. PERFECT for an escape.
When arriving back from a meal out you will need a torch to locate the keyhole though I was informed about it.

a less than stellar stay

limited menuovercooked eggs
I was disappointed by a few things. the breakfast menu lacked variety. There was no bacon or ham available, only chicken sausages. the poached eggs i ordered were overcooked. also, finding the keyhole in the dark was difficult because the outside light was turned off despite my request to leave it on. this was frustrating.
