EXCELLENT stay!
excellent breakfastfantastic mealreal ale
The breakfast WAS excellent. I loved the full English option. The chef prepared a fantastic lamb rump for my evening meal. I especially enjoyed the real ale beers available at the bar.
The partition walls between the rooms ARE thin.

The hotel provided a wide selection for breakfast, including a cooked option with locally sourced ingredients AND also cereals. The evening meal included several choices. I found the quality to be really good. The bar offered a variety of drinks.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful . They were attentive to my needs and responded quickly to any requests I made. The owner was particularly cute!

The room was quite small. There wasn't a bedside table on one side because the door would hit it. The decor seemed dated. the walls felt very thin, so I could hear a lot of noise (someone's TV was on).

The breakfast was excellent. A full English breakfast was very well cooked! and presented. The chef deserves congratulations for presenting an excellent lamb rump evening meal. The bar provided a great choice of real ale beers.
The room was small, and its layout was poor. Clothes needed hanging in front of the mirror, though the second mirror was too far from the socket. The bath towel was hung on a clothes hanger on a hook?
