Charming Welsh Getaway
quiet location great breakfast helpful owners
Location seems great, just outside the town center, but quiet. Breakfast offered many choices, like cereals, yoghurt, and fruit, I find it good. Owners appears helpful and cute, it gives the place a comfortable feel. The green location creates a relaxing atmosphere.
The kettle leaked when I made a drink. It made the process more difficult. Temperature control in the shower was not easy. I received some scolding hot water.

The Estate has spacious grounds that create a warm feel. Communal areas appears well-kept and maintained to a high standard, it makes you feel they care.

Hosts seem friendly and cute. They obviously put a lot of love into the hotel, it shows, what a beautiful thing.

Really good Stay in the Countryside
manicured grounds thoughtful gesture
I appreciated the location set back on a tree lined road, it gave way to manicured grounds. The setting was peaceful and offered unobstructed views. I liked the delicious lemon drizzle cake and tea provided upon my arrival. The gesture was thoughtful. I found the host's suggestion for a local dining spot useful.
The bedroom felt somewhat cramped. Utilizing the desk required sitting on the bed frame. The single power outlet was also hard to reach so accessing it was inconvenient.

Breakfast featured delicious poached eggs on toast, alongside a selection of cereals, yoghurt, and fruit. Coffee was readily available and the hosts were cute. I loved the fresh coffee provided during my welcome.

The double room offered ample space, it also featured a large bathroom. The rooms were quite spacious and were kept spotlessly clean. I clean professionally for holiday homes and was impressed. The bed was very comfortable.

Sam and Beth were fantastic hosts. Sam provided advice on local beaches to visit and I felt that nothing was too much trouble. The hosts are very friendly and helpful! The communication via email before my stay was also effective.

some issues during stay
leaking kettle hot water
the location was quiet, which i expected.
the kettle leaked terribly when i wanted to make tea. it was impossible to control the shower temperature. my partner and i got scolded with hot water several times when trying to shower.

the staff was friendly. the location provided a quiet atmosphere away from main roads. complimentary items were available in the basket and fridge. breakfast tasted nice.

The provided plant-based milk was a nice touch at breakfast.
The bedroom felt cramped. I had to sit on the bed frame to use the desk and move every time my partner passed by (it was very annoying).
