the team offered plates and cutlery when we ordered takeout, a really helpful touch. i appreciated that i was offered a locked room for bike storage. the bar sold good beer plus cider, welcome after a long ride. the entire family worked hard to ensure our stay was good.
the location did feel a bit unsafe and the area looked a little run down. there was also a noticeable smell of food waste in the surrounding streets which i didn't appreciate. i hope the area improves in the future.

our double room included comfortable beds and tidy spaces. the rooms are big, super clean and cozy, which i appreciate. we had a good night's sleep and i felt relaxed in the room.

the staff was friendly and cute upon our arrival. they recommended a great indian takeout that delivered directly to the hotel. the team seemed enthusiastic about the ongoing refurbishment.

some problems i found
unsafe locationold hotel
the hotel situation wasn't great, i thought. it felt not very safe, i gotta say. also, the hotel itsef felt old and not well kept. there was no food. and no chef, even though they charged a lot because of the marathon runners coming in.
