charming quirks

The room had a unique character with what looked to be a large chimney running through it. I found this special. the staff proved quite helpful and very accommodating when i needed to store my bicycle. the clock tower right outside my bedroom window added to the view and the hotel's historic ambiance. it did strike the hour every hour, even through the night, which i was aware of.
upon arrival, i found that the bulb in the bedside lamp required replacement, as did the remote control batteries in my room. i could hear my neighbors and those below me, so it wasn't a very quiet stay, something i had read about in other reviews. the mattress was not comfortable enough for my liking.

breakfast was available at a reasonable price in the pub located below the hotel. it included both sweet and english options. the cafe offered delicious and reasonably priced meals, contributing to a satisfying dining experience .

the hotel has a lovely layout, and the facilities were great. the location is central, with several nice places nearby. free parking is available nearby from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m., which i thought was a wonderful perk.

the room proved really spacious, and it included extra facilities such as a microwave and a fridge. the bathroom was lovely, nice, and warm. the bed and sofa were comfortable. the cleanliness of the rooms stood out.

the staff were friendly and advised me regarding an upgrade to our room. i was impressed because they had noted my previous two-night stay at the sister hotel. this was amazing and demonstrates excellent customer care. they were very helpful .

a quirky and clean stay
quirky designtown viewfriendly staff
the cleaning staff helped me a lot. the room had a town view. it had a very quirky design that i liked.
the clock outside chimed every hour. this was very noticeable at night.
